San Jose, CA (March 17, 2008) - WYDE Voice, a new startup venture backed by Free Conferencing Corp. founder and CEO David Erickson, today launched a comprehensive reseller program to support the introduction of its new turn-key, Asterisk-based conferencing appliances that offer 16-bit, 16 kHz voice quality. The announcement, made at Spring 2008 VON.x, is designed to attract channel partners and service providers interested in delivering wideband audio conferencing solutions.

The WYDE Voice Reseller Program offers a broad range of tools and resources to help VARs and systems integrators in the US and across the globe sell and support the new VM1000 and VM3000 - the industry's first real-time conferencing appliances that support 16-bit 16 kHz voice quality for an unparalleled user experience. Leveraging the Asterisk platform, the new WYDE 16 kHz wideband voice solution enables service providers, universities, government agencies, and enterprises to deliver a broad range of affordable, high-quality audio conferencing solutions. The new WYDE Voice models can accommodate from 500 to 7000 concurrent G.711 callers and up to 3000 16 bit/16 kHz iSAC callers.

The WYDE Voice Reseller Program is comprised of three components: ProTech, ProSales, and ProMarketing programs. The ProTech Program includes:

  • Ability to resell WYDE support contracts.
  • Telephone support from the WYDE Voice partner support team.
  • Online access to documentation and bulletin boards.
  • On-site and Web-based technical training.
  • Significant incremental opportunities to sell third-party computer, networking, and telephony products that complement the WYDE bridge.

The ProSales Program offers on-site and web-based sales training, on-line access to sales collateral, case studies, presentations, and product documentation and direct support from the WYDE sales team. The ProMarketing Program adds co-op marketing dollars, demand generation, trade-in program and special discounts into the mix. WYDE Voice will contribute 5% of reseller sales to a co-op marketing fund that can be used to support independent partner marketing events. WYDE will forward sales leads from its web site, contacts from trade shows, and direct mailers. To make the switch to WYDE even more seamless, the company will offer trade-in credits for selected competitor bridges. Finally, WYDE will give special discounts on evaluation systems.
